Nonprofits, Organizations, Municipalities and Groups

Once you post your personal tributes, groups should register planned volunteer projects open to the general public. (Posting your tribute alone will not register your activity.) Once registered, your projects and volunteer opportunities will appear in our nationwide database for individuals to find. Please be sure to check back periodically to update your listings. We also offer project ideas, volunteer leader training and 9/11 Day and Tribute Movement logos which you can place on your website and materials. You can download sample proclamations, community dialogue tools and much more.

Teachers and Faith Community Leaders

Please join thousands of educators from across the country who will teach the important lessons of 9/11 by engaging students in charitable activities in observance of the 10- year anniversary. Browse our Teaching Tools, including many lesson plans, videos and other instructional resources. Just be sure to remember to have your class, congregants or the students themselves post their 9/11 tributes on this website or on our Facebook page.

Employers

Thousands of businesses, small and large, have already registered their intention to help promote the 9/11 Tribute Movement among employees. It is simple and easy to do. Just download our Toolkit for Businesses, offered in partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Business Civic Leadership Center. You can explore project ideas and other resources offered by HandsOn Network, and also access our 9/11Day and Tribute Movement logos, which you can place on your own website to point employees to 911day.org, or on our Facebook page.
